2025 Fee Schedule

Initiation - One-time fee  $500.00 plus HST ($575)

NOTE: All fees are due on March 1st annually. If fees are not paid by that date, a $100 plus HST late fee will be incurred ($115.00)  Non-payment of fees will result in termination of your membership or loss of services. Membership fees are non-refundable

Annual Senior Membership - $800 plus HST - ($920.00)

***NOTE**** Senior Membership does NOT INCLUDE a Berth or storage. Pricing for that is below****

Summer Berthage Rentals - In-water berth - $400 plus HST ($460) for the season

Currently there is a waitlist for berths. That list appears on the members only page  and will be updated as there is movement. To get on the waitlist, senior members, please contact the Rear Commodore. All fees must be paid by March 1st or slip will be declared vacant.

****No member shall “loan” or sublet their space. If a member does not require  the use of dock space, the allocation of space will be at the discretion of the Rear Commodore.

"On Land" Dry Summer Storage - $400.00 plus HST ($460)  All fees must be paid my March 1st or it will be assumed service not required

If current members that have dry storage plan on purchasing a larger vessel they must discuss space availability with the Rear Commodore.

Dry Storage Policy Update June 2025 – Maximum Duration Limit

The Saint John Power Boat Club will no longer accommodate dry storage of vessels for more than two (2) consecutive years unless approved by SJPBC Executive. This policy is being implemented to ensure fair and equitable access to our limited storage space for all members and to ensure an active member club.

Members with vessels that have been in dry storage and not launched for two consecutive seasons or more will be required to make alternative arrangements for their boats before the beginning of the next storage period

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us manage our facility efficiently and in the best interest of the entire membership.

Senior Members Winter Haul-out, Dry Storage & Launching - $400 plus HST ($460)

Note - Bubble system rates approx, the same, however power rates vary (See note below **) All fees must be paid by March 1st or it will be assumed service not required

Boats must be prepped for launch in June or will incur a summer storage charge of an additional $400 plus HST

***PLEASE NOTE: BOAT STORAGE/SLIPS AT SJPBC ARE FOR SENIOR MEMBERS ONLY*******

Storage for the bubble system runs from the Weekend before thanksgiving until the Saturday before the long weekend in May***Members without a slip need to make other arrangements after those dates or return to your assigned slip or will be charged the appropriate fees as noted on this page for overnight stays or asked to vacate.  

Senior Members Quick Haul-Out and Launch - $100.00 Plus HST

(Quick haul out is IN and back OUT, boat does not come out of straps)

Senior Members One Way and off-property/Reverse - $100.00 Plus HST per direction

Associate Members Annual Dues - $100.00 plus HST Must be paid by March 1st or late fee will apply

Associate Member Emergency Quick Haul-Out and Launch $200.00 plus HST/Direction

Associate members are not eligible for slips, fuel or storage at the SJPBC. That is for Senior Members only, upon availability.  Only Senior members can be placed on a waitlist if the service is not available.

TRAVEL LIFT SAFETY - Any boats being hauled out for a quick repair must be properly blocked & jack stands in place by owner or contractor before work begins. No work permitted with a boat suspended in the straps no matter how small a job! 

Gate Key/Card - $20.00 plus HST

Club Burgee - $25.00 plus HST

WIFI  - The club house has wifi. It is a courtesy but not guaranteed to reach all vessels or devices.

Volunteer Fee - $100.00 -  In order to encourage active participation and ensure the continued success of our club, a volunteer fee of $100 will be charged to members who do not participate in the scheduled club clean-up days or other club-organized volunteer activities. This fee helps support the maintenance and improvement of our facilities, which are essential to the enjoyment of all members. We value the contributions of those who actively engage in the upkeep of our club, and this initiative aims to foster a more collaborative and sustainable environment for everyone. This does not apply to our members that are 70 and older.

No Haul-Outs or Launching without up to date, adequate insurance on record.  Boats are not permitted on club property without up to date insurance

***Boat must be operational at launch or will not be launched. You will not be towed to your slip.***

Memberships do not follow the purchase of a boat. Proper protocols must be followed and respected

Members will remove any debris or litter remaining in the storage yard within 24 hours of launching. Failure to do so will result in a clean-up fee outlined above

 If you require a balance or invoice, please email the same email as the 

 e-transfer address.  It is your responsibility to make sure your account and               insurance is in good standing.  

The club will not be sending invoices for membership fees

Overnight stays are $50 per night. This includes associate members over their allotted 3 night stays or SENIOR members with no slip. 

Please contact the Rear Commodore for transient slip availability. 

****SENIOR members with or without assigned slip, if hauled out on land, will be charged $50 per day to the maximum of summer storage fee.

It is the members responsibility to provide proper marine insurance to the club upon your renewal each year or change of insurance provider. Failure to do so will incur additional administration fees and could lead to loss of membership.
